October isnt just for aces.Max Scherzer, Jake Arrieta, Clayton Kershaw and Cole Hamels are a few of the star pitchers teams are counting on this postseason. But closers and middle-rotation pitchers can steal the spotlight, too.Dennis Eckersley (1988 As), Sterling Hitchcock (1998 Padres), Mariano Rivera (2003 Yankees), Jeff Suppan (2006 Cardinals), Michael Wacha (2013 Cardinals) and Koji Uehara (2013 Red Sox) all were MVPs of the league championship series. Livan Hernandez (1997 Marlins) and John Wetteland (1996 Yankees) were World Series MVPs.Heres a Pick 6 of relievers and other pitchers who could dominate this month:KYLE HENDRICKS: Jon Lester, Arrieta and John Lackey have more hardware in their trophy cases, but Hendricks (16-8) led the league with a 2.13 ERA. The righty began the season as the No. 5 starter for the Cubs. Now he gets the ball in Game 2 of the NL division series.TANNER ROARK: While Scherzer had 20 wins and Stephen Strasburg was 15-4 for the Nationals, Roark (16-10) led the team with a 2.83 ERA. The right-hander allowed two runs or fewer in nine of his last 13 starts.KENLEY JANSEN: If Kershaw, Rich Hill and Kenta Maeda do their job and the Dodgers give Jansen a lead in the ninth, hes got lights-out stuff. Jansen had 47 saves, a 1.83 ERA and a 104/11 strikeout/walk ratio. Batters hit just .147 against him.J.A. HAPP: The lefty was Torontos most consistent pitcher, going 20-4 with a 3.18 ERA. Happ starts Game 2 of the AL division series against Texas. He was 3-0 with a 2.35 ERA down the stretch in his final five starts, helping the Blue Jays secure a wild-card spot.TREVOR BAUER: The Indians will send Bauer to the mound for Game 1 against the Red Sox and their high-powered offense. If Bauer (12-8, 4.26 ERA) pitches like he did in the first half, Cleveland could steal an important game and turn the series in its favor.BRAD ZIEGLER: The sidearm-tossing righty is one of the toughest relievers to hit in baseball. Ziegler had a 1.52 ERA for Boston after being acquired from Arizona and saved four games in 33 appearances. Craig Kimbrel closes games for the Red Sox, but Ziegler is their most dependable and versatile reliever.BONUS PICK: Rangers right-hander Colby Lewis (6-5, 3.71) is a proven postseason pitcher. Hes 4-1 with a 2.38 ERA in nine playoff games and is slated to start Game 3 against the Blue Jays.---Follow Rob Maaddi on Twitter: https://twitter.com/AP-RobMaaddiWhoelsale China Colts Jerseys .4 million title. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Denard Robinson has a new T-shirt hanging in his locker that he plans to wear under his Jacksonville Jaguars jersey this season. It contains a simple message, one few people will ever see and even fewer would understand.Be Like Carlos. For Robinson, though, it means everything. The former Michigan All-American is mourning the death of one of his best friends, 25-year-old Carlos Senluis. Senluis was shot and killed in a road rage incident in Deerfield Beach earlier this month, and Robinson is still trying to cope with the loss.He was like a brother to me, Robinson said Tuesday. I grew up with him. His mom was my mom. My mom was his mom. He would hang out at my house without me being there, and I could do that same with his family. Thats how close we were.Robinson missed one day of training camp to attend Senluis funeral, but was unable to make a public tribute at Deerfield Beach High School, where Robinson was a football/track superstar and Senluis was a standout baseball player. So Robinson has something of his own planned. A college quarterback turned NFL running back, Robinson plans to dedicate his first touchdown this season to the memory of his friend and give the ball to Senluis mother. He knows it wont take away the pain, but he hopes the gesture will be another reminder of how much he loved and misses his friend. Its been tough, Robinson said. Just seeing somebody that you really care about gone and then you see his mom. Shes like my mom.According to the Broward Sheriffs Office, Senluis and a passenger, another close friend of Robinsons, were driving homme on Aug.dddddddddddd 5 around 10:30 p.m. when Senluis apparently flashed his headlights at another car. The driver of the other car, 28-year-old Clarck Paul, followed Senluis home and then opened fire into the car after an unprovoked exchange. After shooting Senluis, Paul drove to North Lauderdale, where he shot and killed another man. Investigators believe Paul, who has a lengthy criminal record, was on his way to kill the second man because he was a witness in a separate attempted murder. The shootings took place about half an hour apart that Friday night, detectives said.Robinson had just finished a scrimmage at EverBank Field when he got the call that Senluis had been shot. Robinson called his brothers -- he has five of them -- and asked them to go help. They obliged, but there was little they could do.Senluis, who played college baseball at New Mexico Junior College and then Florida Memorial University in Miami, was rushed to a local hospital and pronounced dead.Paul was arrested a few hours later and jailed on two murder charges.Robinson practiced the next day with a heavy heart and has offered to help however the family needs.Carlos mom said this to me and its something that stood out, Robinson said. Paul gets to breathe. He gets to talk to his mom again. He gets to still lift
